Firm Background

Corey & Corey was formed in 1994 when Edward Corey and Eugene P. Crummey, Jr. left their positions as partners in the Los Angeles law firm of Cotkin & Collins (formerly Cotkin, Collins & Franscell).   Mr. Corey and Mr. Crummey left to form their own firm to service the many loyal clients who desired more personalized service at affordable rates.

Joseph Corey joined the firm in 1996 following a successful career in the plaintiff’s personal injury area where he represented individuals in various mass tort cases.  Mr. Corey joined the firm in San Francisco and has continued to serve clients in Northern California.

Edward Corey opened the firm’s Los Angeles office and continued his practice of representing businesses of all types and sizes and professionals involved in various types of businesses.  Mr. Corey represents clients in all types of litigation and transactional matters and has assisted many clients in analysis of business opportunities and business formations.  Mr. Corey is an active litigator and specializes in contract, employment and   administrative law matters.
